We managed to find a dry spot sandwiched between two heavy snowfalls to do some vinyl lettering on one of our customers’ vans recently. There was a little cleanup involved because of all the slush (and the dirt mixed in the slush), but otherwise it turned out nice.

Metallic colors are always tricky, particularly when you move from spot to process color – after all, the actual metallic look in, say, metallic gold ink comes from actual metal particles suspended in the ink. With process printing you lose the little sparkly bits that make something look metallic.
